For Impresa Tre Colli safety come first and for this we have implemented an integrated Environmental Management System with the existing Quality Management System, thus creating a unified procedure that take into account also the management of occupational health and safety pursuant to OHSAS 18001:2007. This safety, environment and quality management system, documented, implemented and kept active, integrated into the global company management, is aimed at ensuring products/services of proven reliability, in order to meet the requirements of customers and introduce the continuous improvement process extended to environmental performances.

Through the system, the company defines its Safety, Environment and Quality policy, identifies production processes, their interactions and impacts on the quality of the supplied service, on the environment and with reference to occupational health and safety, assesses its performances, establishes the improvement objectives and programmes, ensures the availability of resources and information necessary to implement and monitor them and defines the operations of process management and control, always in compliance with regulatory provisions.

The SEQMS structure and requirements allow, therefore, to ensure its development over time through a continuous adjustment to reality and external restrictions (binding regulations, needs of customers and stakeholders and complaints) and based on the results of performance monitoring in terms of effectiveness, efficiency and improvement. The company periodically ascertains the compliance of its system with the requirements of UNI EN ISO 14001, UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007 and identifies improvement opportunities. The SEQMS is organized though a series of company documents complying with applicable regulations and to be used in case the manual lacks of full directions.

Each objective includes one or more goals, possibly measurable and quantifiable, stating the steps necessary for the achievement of the relevant objective through the planning of suitable actions; for each objective a parameter is identified to allow the control and measurement of the achievement degree.

The Environmental Programme (general and detailed) is the document by which the Management implements, by defining responsibilities, terms and resources, the actions planned for the maintenance of regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of environmental performances, according to the guidelines provided for by the Environmental Policy.

Environmental programmes can include also activities of investigation and research on techniques and/or products that allow Impresa Tre Colli S.p.A. to reduce its environmental impacts, both with reference to the modalities of carrying out manufacturing and in terms of used methodologies and resources.
